Senator Bala Ibn Na Allah and his family are still mourning the gruesome killing of their son.
In most of the Northern States of Nigeria, the suspected murder of Captain Abdulkarim Bala which occurred on Sunday has been sparking outrage discussions.
According to a Police report, The 36-year-old son of the popular Nigerian Senator Bala Na Allah was murdered by assassins.
Considering what they saw at the Malahi area home of the late pilot on Sunday afternoon, Police confirmed that it’s a case of assassination.
“They stabbed him to death with a rope and they also stole his Lexus SUV.
“Commissioner has ordered a full investigation and We won’t rest until we find the killers.”
This is what Mohammed Jagile told BBC on behalf of the Nigerian Police detectives who are investigating the matter.
ASP Jagile is the Police Spokesman for Kaduna State (Northwest Nigeria) where the incident happened.
Mohammed Mahuta, who is the maternal uncle to late Abdulkarim who recently got married narrated the ugly incident below:
It was neighbours who first informed them that they noticed that the gate of the house got opened for hours which caused suspicion.
“It was around 1pm on Sunday, Neighbours called me, saying they observed that the gate of the house was opened for long.
“And this made me and some people rush to the place only to discover the dead body of Abdulkarim.”
“We quickly rush to Malali police station to report and from there, they gave us officers who followed us to the scene.”
Mohammed revealed that nobody is a suspect for now but believes that Police will continue to investigate what happened to his nephew.
He also said that from the look of things, it seems they entered the house from the ceiling and they overpowered him before hitting him till he died.
Based on Islamic rites, the son of the popular Nigerian Senator was buried on Sunday evening at Unguwar Sarki cemetery after Islamic funeral prayer.
Senator Bala Ibn Na Allah Reacts To His Son Suspected Murder
The father, Senator Bala Na Allah, who is currently out of the country released a statement on Monday saying:
The family leave what happened to God and prayed for insecurity in Nigeria to stop.
The Kaduna State Government on its part also released a statement via the commissioner of internal affairs Samuel Aruwan.
The statement says what happened to the Senator’s son is unfortunate and clearly shows it’s a case of assassination and not banditry as some people said, he added.
Senator Bala Ibn Na Allah who has become Senator since 2015 represents Kebbi South Senatorial District.
But his popularity across the country started during the Truth and Reconciliation Commission which former President, Olusegun Obasanjo established in 1999 which many now called the Oputa panel.
