It is a common truth that when a woman gets pregnant, she experiences some changes in her body which might not be attractive to her man but the moment she gave birth to a baby, the physical changes will go back to normal.
Here are 5 common physical changes a woman’s body might undergo during the nine months of pregnancy:
1. Skin Changes
While some women experience what is known as the pregnancy glow, others aren’t so lucky with the hormonal changes that affect the skin during pregnancy.
Some experience darker complexions stretch marks, acne and dark patches on their skins.
2. Hair Changes
Many women have changes in hair texture and growth during pregnancy.
Hormones can make your hair grow faster and fall out less.
Some women also find that they grow hair in unwanted places, such as on the face or belly or around the nipples.
3. Bigger Breasts
During the first pregnancy trimester, women experience an increase in breast size.
This is due to higher levels of the hormones estrogen and progesterone.
4. Swollen Feet
Extra fluid in their pregnant bodies means that many women develop swollen appearances.
This means a bigger nose and lips, and a gradual swelling in the legs, fingers, ankles and feet.
5. Bigger Belly Button
As a woman’s abdomen expands late in the second trimester or during the third, her belly button tends to pop out.
