Bolu Akin-Olugbade

It is no longer a rumour that Nigerian billionaire and businessman, Bolu Akin-Olugbade has died on Wednesday, 13th January 2021.

According to multiple reports, the Nigerian billionaire died from COVID-19 complications in one of the Isolation Centre in Ikeja.

When the news of his death was announced, many Nigerians took to social media to mourn him.

More than 1000 people have been dead as a result of COVID-19 complications in Nigeria.

Before his demise, Bolu Akin-Olugbade held a big traditional title called Aare Onakakanfo of the Owu Kingdom in Yoruba land.

He was also the chairman of Owu Empowerment Foundation Board.

In case you don’t know, Owu is another town in Ogun State, South-Western Nigeria.

There are many gists about Nigerian billionaire who usually like to keep a private life because according to him, social media is not his thing.

Reports say he is a gentleman but very rich.

Chief Bolu attended Corona School and King’s College in Lagos.

Although He later travelled to London to further his education at a popular London University.

He acquired his Bachelor of Law from the Unversity of London (1975 – 1978) while his Master’s degree was obtained from the University of California where he had a distinction in Corporate and International Business Transaction Law from 1980 – 1981.

Akin-Ogunbiade also got his PhD in Company Law from Cambridge University.

Bolu is a successful Lawyer and according to him, business interests are property development, construction, manufacturing, among others.

Until his death, Akin- Olugbade was the chairman of Bolu Akin-Olugbade Limited and GMT Limited.

Reports said that the billionaire man was a great lover of Rolls Royce cars, no wonder he has about 10 of the vehicle.

His first Rolls Royce was acquired in 1984.
