Coronavirus In Nigeria: 28 Persons Quarantined In Ogun State (Full Gist)

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has revealed that a total of 28 persons have been quarantined in the state following the Infected Italian man who was the first person to be tested positive to Coronavirus in Nigeria.




According to a report gathered from Daily Post,  Those who were quarantined seemed to have contacts with the Italian man who was initially tested to the coronavirus in Ogun State.

While addressing newsmen during a press conference on Friday, Governor Abiodun disclosed that the Ogun government was leaving no stone unturned as items needed for health workers had been provided so that they can tackle the current situation of the virus disease quickly.

Governor Abiodun further said that the state is currently probing those who might have had contacts with the infected man, so as to isolate them.

Meanwhile, the Ewekoro company where the infected man visited had been shut down, also two isolation centres had been established at the company. this is done to tackle and mitigate the spread of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
