Evelyn Joshua, the wife of late Tele-Evangelist prophet TB Joshua has denied being the new General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, saying her husband still remains as the G.O.
She said this in a video she posted on her Twitter account on Monday morning.
Recall that the church has earlier announced on their Facebook page that Evelyn Joshua is the new leader of the Church.
While hailing the church members for their resilience after the death of prophet and founder, Evelyn Joshua begged them to join hands with her to move the Ministry to the next level.
Mrs Evelyn didn’t talk about the new title she will be bearing but told her followers that these last three months have been very challenging but thank you for remaining strong and keeping the faith.
She added that prophet TB Joshua fight a good fight and finish strong and we have started the journey from where he stopped.
SCOAN Appoints Evelyn Joshua As New Leader of The Church
The gist about her emergence as the leader started last week when some members of the church reportedly conveyed her matter to court, asking the court to declare her as a member of the board of trustees of the church.
The court granted the request and added her name to the three-man board of trustees.
Before the church trustee matter came out, the church has been running with no feasible leader or General Overseer since the prophet died.
When Did Prophet TB Joshua Died?
Prophet TB Joshua died in June 2021 due to undisclosed circumstances and they buried him at the church compound around July.
His sudden death shocked many people across the world because they see him as a miracle worker due to numerous shows of miracles that have been broadcasted on his dedicated church TV station.
