Meet The 50-year-old Nigerian Mother Who Enrolled In JSS2 At Ilorin Grammar School

The gist of one Nigerian mother, Ajayi Folashade who decided to further her education after completing her primary education for adult school in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria has caused a stir on the internet.

The Nigerian mother enrolled herself at Ilorin Grammer School after visiting the State Ministry of Education to inform them of her intention to further her education.

The principal said that the Nigerian Mother is the oldest student that the school has ever produced.

He added that when the ministry gave her the green light to come to the school, they didn’t reject her since they saw her willingness to learn.

She came with her Primary School Certificate, the one she collected from the Adult school she had attended.

We heard that she didn’t pass the examination that was set for her so they put her in JSS2.

According to the principal, she joined the school last week and the other students have not given her any issue.

He further said that the education is free as she won’t pay any dime for school free.

The school management also supported her with school uniform.

However, in an interview with Madam Ajayi, she said that the woman is 50-year-old and she decided to give education a try because of her dream of becoming a classroom teacher.

Ilorin Grammer School is one of the topmost and oldest Government owned school in the state.
