A video has been sighted on social media that captures the moment a Nigerian mother who is yet to be identified lamented bitterly about alleged racism she was subjected to in Italy.
According to the woman, she has purchased bus tickets awaiting a bus to pick at her destination but unfortunately, the bus drivers refused to stop for her simply because she was a black woman.
While complaining about her ordeal amid tears, the woman said that she was standing at the bus station with her baby waiting for the buses to stop so she picks to her destination but the drivers refused to pick her up.
She also recalled one time when an Italian driver tried jamming her hand with the bus door when she was trying to get on it.
Although it has not been confirmed yet as to what must have led the drivers not to stop for her, the woman believes that their actions were racially motivated simply because she was a black woman.
