Popular Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Abba Kyari has been laid to rest in Abuja.
The Chief of Staff, Malam Abba Kyari who died on Friday night was laid to rest at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja without fanfare.
He was brought to Abuja this morning for funeral rite according to Muslim doctrine.

According to President Buhari’s Spokesman, Garba Shehu in his official Twitter Page shared the below statement before the burial.
Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Abba Kyari laid to rest
”We just received the body of Abba Kyari the deceased Chief of Staff the President in Abuja. In strict observation of the protocol put in place for the burial of Coronavirus victims by the @NCDCgov and the Federal Ministry of Health, the funeral prayer and burial will be private.”
Thereafter,there will be no such ceremonies as condolence visits. Well meaning friends, family members and the general public are encouraged to pray for the repose of Abba Kyari’s soul.”
May Allah grant the family and nation the fortitude to bear the loss.”
The burial site of the former Chief Of Staff, Abba Kyari, Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu has this to say.
“it is deeply shocking incident, he is a pillar in the presidency, he offered 100% loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari whom he had a relationship spanning over 40 years.”
Recall that controversial Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo had already reported before that the Chief of Staff has died two weeks before this time.
However many Nigerians who debunked the report then now confirmed that Kemi Olunloyo doesn’t compete to break news but she competes to be transparent in saving lives.
