Nigeria has recorded a total of 12 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and as a matter of urgency, here is the list of Nigeria International Airports that have been shut down due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
List of Nigeria International Airports Shut down are:
Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano
Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu
Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa
Recall that the Federal Government on Wednesday has imposed a travel ban on 13 high-risk countries affected by Coronavirus.
If these three international airports have been shut down by Federal Government, What of Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja and the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos?
Don’t forget Lagos is the number state in Nigeria with the highest recorded cases of Coronavirus.
However, in a statement signed by the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Musa Nuhu disclosed that Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja and the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos would still be opened but no flight operations will be allowed from the thirteen COVID-19 (Coronavirus) high-risk countries.
But what is the essence of still opening these international airports when no flight operations will be allowed?
Does it mean that the Federal Government is trying to play smart on Nigerians?
