Sidney Crosby is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who goes by the name Sidney Patrick Crosby.
Early in his minor hockey career, Crosby started to gain media attention for his performance, which led to his first newspaper interview at the age of 7. He discovered his love for hockey at a young age.
He was too young to play midget hockey at age 13, which is a division of minor hockey for players between the ages of 15 and 17. His family filed a lawsuit but was unsuccessful.

Crosby was the center and captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League as of February 2023. In the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, the Penguins made him their first-round pick.
