Olanrewaju Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan is a multiple award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter born on November 27, 1976.

Sound Sultan first attended Stepping Stone Nursery and Primary school and Federal Government College Ogbomoso for his secondary education.
He then bagged a degree in geography and regional planning at the Lagos State University.
Sound Sultan Career
Sound Sultan discovered an interest in music in 1991 where he started composing and rehearsing songs at school parties after being inspired by his elder brother, Baba Dee who happened to a musician too.
He started learning instruments such as how to play the guitar and later became professional in the ’90s.
In 2000, Sound Sultan released his first ever single titled “Jagbjantis” which became a popular hit song and was then signed to Kennis Music record label.
He later released four albums under the record label before his contract expired in 2007 and partnered with his elder brother, Baba Dee to begin Naija Ninjas, a parent organization for a record label, production outfit, and clothing line.
The veteran singer released many albums under Naija Ninjas and also signed talented artists such as Karma Da Rapper, Young GreyC, Shawn, and Blacka.
Before becoming a famous artist, Sound Sultan used to play basketball for the Dodan Warriors.
He later partnered with investors and bought shares in the Lagos islanders basketball team in 2015.
He didn’t only become a facilitator in the African Basketball League but was also a special guest at the first NBA African Games.
His affinity for the sport persuaded him to join forces with the organizers of the Continental Basketball League.
This achievement made him become a team owner of Lagos City Stars and a facilitator of the team tournament.
Apart from music, Sound Sultan was also an actor in the comedy movie called “Head Gone” which was produced by him and directed by Dare Fasasi.
The movie features other celebrities like Tuface Idibia, Akpororo, Basketmouth, pappy Luwe, Basorge Tarish, and many others.

Sound Sultan tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, Chichi Morah on October 1, 2009, and their union is successfully blessed with three children (two sons and a daughter).
His wife who is from the Igbo tribe, born from Christian background later converted to Islam and also changed her name to Farida Fasasi due to her love for Sultan’s religion.
