Viral Video of Four Boys Who Raped Benue Girl Sparks Cry For Justice

The two-minute video of four boys who gang-raped one young girl who lives in Obi Local Government Area of Benue State has made people demand justice.

The gist we heard is that the Benue girl who is just 18-year-old went to visit her sister in Itakpa-Ito when the four boys attacked and dragged her into one room and rape her one after the other.

Reports also revealed that they captured the whole moment and even laughed over it.

In the video, the girl could be seen struggling for help despite being tied to the bed and the wicked men were also spotted doing all sort of things on her.

The Police spokesperson, Catherine Anene said because of the serious pain that the victim suffered, they had to rush her to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Boys Dodged As Police Hunt Them

It’s really a painful experience to face rape scandal but it even worse seeing them recording a video of the ugly memory for people to watch.

Popular Benue Activist, Ukan Kurugh said the video broke his heart when he watched it and he is all ready to fight for justice for the girl.

He also called the governor of the state to quickly inform the local government chairman of the state to produce the boys so that the matter will not be forgotten.

He claimed that the parents of the wicked boys are making matter difficult by protecting them for Police to investigate while the father of the victim is also protecting his own status by not wanting to speak to newsmen.

Meanwhile the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has ordered the Police to probe the matter and make sure that the boys are arrested quickly.

The Police in response to the Government directive has announced that one of the boys has been arrested while an effort to find others are still in progress.

Governor said in a statement that it’s barbaric and inhuman for anybody to do such a thing to another person.

He added that the boys must be arrested and charge to court so that the case will serve as a lesson to others.
