The President of the United State of America, Donald Trump has now declared a national emergency to combat the rising outbreak of Coronavirus.

According to Trump, the Federal Government will reimburse about $50bn (£40bn) in emergency relief funds.

The Virus which has forced several countries to suspend sports activities, events and other social gatherings.

The move loosens regulations on the provision of healthcare and could speed up testing – the slow pace of which has been criticised widely.

According to information gathered from a reputable source, there are about 1,701 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and nothing less than 40 persons have lost their life.

Many states in the US have started taking precautionary measures to mitigate the spread of the virus. Some of the measures include, Putting a ban on large social gatherings, sporting events and also closing institutions.

Recall that Coronavirus emanated from China last year December but Europe is now dominating as the head of the World Health Organization revealed to newsmen on Friday that several European countries have reported a drastic rise in this infections and deaths.

Italy seems to have recorded the highest daily toll rate over the past 24 hours, moving the tally to 1,266 with 17,660 serving as overall infections in the world.
